We too leave a footprint.  May we faithfully follow the Lord, leaving footprints that point in the right direction.

Our view is so different from God's.  He sees us as children who desperately need the Father's grace and guidance through life.  He loved Judah.  He loves us.  His ways are not our ways. His ways are higher than ours.

This sermon points out a few of the ways in which Joseph pictures Jesus.  He was the beloved of his father.  Our Lord is the Great Shepherd while Joseph was a shepherd as well.  He was strategically placed in a position to save his family.  Though hated by his family, he still sought them out.  What his brothers intended for evil, God used for good.

Reuben, the first born, had so much potential, but it was not to be so. May we honor Him with what He has provided for us.

Noah was moved to act by the Word of God.  May we also be moved to believe, encourage, pray, and sacrifice.

In the course of life a crisis comes along you didn’t anticipate - a storm. Storms are never designed to destroy us. They are always designed to teach us. We can trust the Lord in the face of danger, demons, disease and finally death. 

God does the choosing. God does the changing. God does the cleansing. 

We like Abraham are here in an earthly tent.  We can certainly relate to his experiences.  We are pilgrims for whom God's promises secure our faith.

Living up to the name Christian...Titus did it.  He was committed to his calling, went where directed, showed concern for others, wanted the body of Christ to grow, and was willing to ask for help.  

In this world of broken people, let's be honorable also.

Consider the lily!  You are of so much more value than that beautiful flower.  Just as He provided for the lily, He provides what you need.  Trust Him.  He loves you.  Grow in His grace and glorify Him.
